When entering into the contract, you can choose standard electricity metering, even if you have previously had night-rate or seasonal electricity.

Prices are increasing ahead of the winter season
The beginning of 2026 was exceptionally cold, dry, and also characterized by low wind conditions in the electricity market. As a result of higher than normal electricity consumption, lower wind power generation, and extensive hydropower production, the Nordic hydro reservoir balance weakened sharply. At the end of February, Israel and the United States carried out military strikes against Iran, leading to a significant disruption of traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. This, in turn, has increased the prices of fuels used in electricity generation. The situation in the Middle East remains highly challenging. During the pricing period, electricity derivative prices showed an upward trend.
During the upcoming pricing period starting on 1 October 2026, the energy price of the Louna Helppo XS contract will increase by 75%, the Louna Helppo S contract by 80%, the Louna Helppo M contract by 82,6%, and the Louna Helppo L contract by 83,9%, compared with the price level in effect on 1 April 2026.
Any consumption exceeding the amount included in the monthly fee will be charged at the Louna Varma contract's general electricity rate.
During the upcoming pricing period starting on 1 October 2026, the energy price of the Louna Varma contract will increase by 63% compared with the price level in effect on 1 April 2026. The new energy price is 14.49 c/kWh. The monthly basic fee remains unchanged at €4.90.
The contract is valid indefinitely.
With the Louna Helppo contract, you pay a fixed monthly fee that includes the amount of energy per month in the package you choose. We charge for energy exceeding the monthly limit at the price of the Louna Varma universal electricity.
If your contract begins in the middle of the month, both the monthly fee and the energy in the package will be invoiced according to days of use.
The package prices don't include your local distribution network operator’s distribution charge.
Things to know before signing an electricity contract
By making an electricity contract with Turku Energia, you accept that information related to the contract will be exchanged electronically via EnergiaOnline, as well as by email and text message. If you prefer, you can also choose paper-based transactions by contacting our customer service.
Please note that by making an electricity contract with us, you authorize Turku Energia to make a network service agreement in your name with the distribution network operator and to take the necessary steps to end the electricity supply with your current electricity seller.
By making an electricity contract with us, you confirm that you have the right to make an electricity contract for the specified usage location and that any other parties to the contract approve this action.
Information about your contract
The electricity under the contract is 100% renewable energy. It is generated using wind power, hydropower, and biomass.
The contract may be terminated with 14 days’ notice. The price is adjusted according to market conditions at least twice a year.
Any price changes will be announced in the Valopilkku customer magazine at least one month before they take effect. From November onwards, price changes will primarily be communicated electronically through the EnergiaOnline service and secondarily by text message, email or post. The change may also be notified on the invoice. Please remember to keep your contact details up to date.
This contract is subject to the Turku Energia Terms of Electricity Sales in force at the relevant time. Please also see the current Electricity Sales Service Price List (in Finnish).
The annual amount of energy in the consumer customer's electricity contract can be a maximum of 60,000 kWh. If the consumer customer's annual consumption exceeds the above-mentioned amount, the contract is exchanged for one that better corresponds to the consumption amount.
