When entering into the contract, you can choose standard electricity metering, even if you have previously had night-rate or seasonal electricity.

Spot-based electricity contracts will get a new feature during the autumn
During the autumn, we will introduce the possibility to make a price fixing for an upcoming one-month or three-month period for all spot-priced electricity contracts through the EnergiaOnline service.
The following terms apply to the price fixing:
After the price fixing has been confirmed, the contract will become fixed-term from the beginning of the first fixing period and will remain fixed-term until the end of the latest price fixing period. During this time, the Louna Pörssi contract will be treated in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable to fixed-term contracts.
The price fixing applies to the entire energy volume for the fixing period and is always binding. It cannot be changed or cancelled.
The consumption impact will be added to the fixed price.
Price fixing cannot be made if the electricity contract ends before the end of the fixing period.
Turku Energia is not responsible for the successful completion of the price fixing in the event of technical disruptions or in situations where the EnergiaOnline service is unavailable.

Things to know before signing an electricity contract
By making an electricity contract with Turku Energia, you accept that information related to the contract will be exchanged electronically via EnergiaOnline, as well as by email and text message. If you prefer, you can also choose paper-based transactions by contacting our customer service.
Please note that by making an electricity contract with us, you authorize Turku Energia to make a network service agreement in your name with the distribution network operator and to take the necessary steps to end the electricity supply with your current electricity seller.
By making an electricity contract with us, you confirm that you have the right to make an electricity contract for the specified usage location and that any other parties to the contract approve this action.
Save on your electricity bill with your electricity contract
The quarter-hourly-rated electricity contract monitors the rate of electricity on an quarter-hourly basis. The rate of the electricity in the contract consists of the consumption weighted spot price of the Finnish rate area of the Nord Pool electricity exchange. The invoice shows the rate of energy as the average rate for the invoicing period.
You can save on your electricity bill by making use of the cheapest moments of electricity production. For example, you could heat the sauna only when the rate is lower.
If your electricity consumption is focused on more expensive quarter-hours, your electricity invoice may be higher than usual. There may be seasonal fluctuations in the quarter-hourly price of electricity, for example during the heating season the average price level may be significantly higher.
On EnergiaOnline, you can always see precise information about your usage point with the accuracy of your electricity meter. Consumption and price data are shown with 15-minute accuracy if you have a new quarter-hour meter. If you still have an hourly meter, your data will be displayed with hourly accuracy. In this case, the spot price is shown as the average of the quarter-hour prices within that hour. In the Turku Energia Sähköverkot electricity network area, all electricity meters will be replaced with quarter-hour meters by the end of 2028. Benefits of a spot electricity contract
You pay the price of electricity every quarter-hour, which is the market price with a small brokerage fee. The pricing of the Louna Pörssi electricity contract is transparent.
The quarter-hourly prices for tomorrow can be seen in advance, for example, in Fingrid's Hourly Price mobile application, which you can also download to your phone.
You can save on your electricity bill by shifting your consumption to off-peak quarter-hours through scheduling or planning your electricity usage in advance.

Basic information about the electricity contract
The electricity under the contract is generated from renewable and fossil energy sources as well as nuclear power.
The contract may be terminated with 14 days’ notice.
This contract is subject to the Turku Energia Terms of Electricity Sales in force at the relevant time. Please also see the current Electricity Sales Service Price List (in Finnish).
The annual amount of energy in the consumer customer's electricity contract can be a maximum of 60,000 kWh. If the consumer customer's annual consumption exceeds the above-mentioned amount, the contract is exchanged for one that better corresponds to the consumption amount.
