You can apply for a household tax deduction for the installation work. Installation work accounts for approximately a third of the total price of package.

The price of solar-panel packages includes:

Installation
  • Driving distance of 100km from Salo.
  • Installation on pitched roof, brick-tile roof, bitumen or sheet-metal roof (as a uniform panel set).
  • Lifting work if the eaves height of the property does not exceed 3.5 metres.
  • Connecting the inverter to the Internet.
  • Services of the building supervisor at properties where an operating permit is required.
  • The solar panel package is connected with the property's free fuse outputs.

  • Safety switch
  • About 50 metres of DC cable and about 4 metres of AC cable
Services
  • Continuous monitoring and maintenance service for the solar-panel system.

 

Installation schedule

  • Installation by order-book. We aim to install within 30 days of ordering, but during high season (i.e. from April to August), delivery times may be longer.
  • Louna Solar Optimi packages take 1 to 2 days to install.

Guarantee of electricity generation Salo Tech Oy grants a 25 years electricity generation guarantee for the solar-panels they manufacture. This means that even after 25 years, the panels will still have at least 80% of the promised rated yield.

How do I monitor solar-panel yield?

The Louna Solar Optimi solar-panel system has a Solar Edge inverter which allows you to monitor your own power generation and get maximum yield from each panel. In this video, we present the generating control system that shows day-by-day and hourly yields and yield numbers for each panel. The video is in Finnish.

What do we mean by metering method?

General Electricity

When you opt for our general electricity contract, you always pay the same price (24/7). This metering method is most commonly used in smaller homes; e.g. in apartment blocks and terraced houses.

Night-time Electricity

When you opt for night-time electricity metering, the price for electricity varies according to time of day; day-time metering applies e.g. from 7 AM to 10 PM, and night-time metering applies from 10 PM to 7 AM. Please note that different distribution network suppliers apply different cut- off times for metering, and you should take this into consideration when estimating consumption. Night-time metering is very popular in terraced and detached houses where the primary heat source is direct electrical heating.

Seasonal Electricity

Your electricity consumption can also be metered seasonally either as winter-day energy and other period energy. This metering method is popular with detached houses and vacation homes, which have water- circulated, heat-storing floor-heating and dual-rate metering. During summer season and winter nights, electricity is most affordable.
